Root beer floats

Ingredients:

2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream (this can be any type of vanilla—vanilla bean, French vanilla, classic vanilla, homemade vanilla, etc.)

A glass or cup of root beer

Directions:

1. Get 2-3 scoops of ice cream in your cup or glass. Do this quickly so the ice cream will not melt!
2. Pour root beer into your glass or cup. Wait until the bubbles calm down. To lower the fizz, get a straw or your finger and twirl it around in the bubbles.

3. Once your root beer float looks good, stick a straw in it and drink! I like to finish the root beer and then take a spoon for the ice cream.

7-Up Float

Ingredients:

A glass or cup of 7-Up

Any type of vanilla ice cream, 2-3 scoops

Directions:

1. Get 2-3 scoops of ice cream in your cup or glass. Do this quickly so the ice cream will not melt!

2. Pour root beer into your glass or cup. Wait until the bubbles calm down. To lower the fizz, get a straw or your finger and twirl it around in the bubbles.

3. Once your 7-Up float looks good, stick a straw in it and drink! I like to finish the soda and then take a spoon for the ice cream.

Tips for Floats: You can do this with almost any type of soda or pop, like Coke, Coca-Cola,  and more!
